Survival Game Props Asset Pack
This is a set of hard surface models that were created in a Game Development elective course I took in 2020. Every model was made for the purpose of performing well in Unreal Engine 4, and the captures you see here are from Unreal. It was a welcome challenge for me as a Visual Effects major to design around poly count, and I successfully created a useful asset pack for anyone needing some assets for a survival game in an abandoned home.
Software Used: Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine 4
The above asset is modular. This object can be repeated on an interval to create a long hallway of an abandoned manor. The placement of the lamps, paintings, door, and mold markings are arranged to reduce repetition effects. Below is an image of the orthographic view, repeated on this webpage to see the modular effect.
Below are components of the Radio and a Knife Sharpener. These are small enough to be complied onto the same texture set. These objects can serve as 'key-hunt' objects or character props in a survival style game. The images below are rendered in Arnold Renderer.
